This is during this time when Dr. Fowad learned many of Kidney and Diabetic patients were Obese and it was in fact the Obesity which was behind many bad consequences in his patients. To fulfil his ambition of helping patients particularly obese and diabetic/kidney patients in United States, he went on to do another training from Columbia Universality, New York for Obesity and Weight Loss medicine. Now he regularly sees the patients with complex Obesity, Diabetes, Endocrine and Nephrology Problems.

His areas of interests are that Obesity may be the leading cause of many endocrine and nephrology problems for many in patients particularly in Pakistan (Punjab) and has dedicated his time and efforts to improve the patient care outcomes in this regard. With aim to provide holistic care to his patients besides him, his team includes a diabetic educator, a dedicated pharmacist(to teach about prescription medications) and a qualified dietitian to provide detailed and individualized plan for each patient who visits his clinic. In Pakistan, he has Obesity, Endocrine/Diabetes and Nephrology Clinics in Lahore and Gujrwanwla.
